FITTING A VAPOUR BARRIER:
A vapour barrier is a layer of polyethylene plastic, which creates a watertight and airtight barrier. It is stapled on the inside face of the walls, between the partition and the insulation. The plastic prevents the occurrence of internal condensation and humidity in the heart of the insulation. To do this many large spaces will be covered with this tilt and for this job a hammer is the best tool to use. We recommend you to use Rapid hammer tacker to reduce the stress on the wrist. The four-way grip makes the Rapid hammer tacker both ergonomic and efficient. To get a good grip of the plastic use a more powerful staple.
