The WN-450BT foot sealer is an ideal unit for high volume poly bag and other thermoplastic sealing. They are capable of 15-20 seals per minute and allow the user to keep both hands free for quick and accurate sealing. WN-BT series are ivory in color and has an 18 inch sealer.
The sealer is equipped with two heating elements, 2.7mm and 0.8mm (round element for seal and cut), which are 5/8" apart. Two separate plug-in timer control the sealing times needed for different materials.
Once the timer is set, the unit will give a consistent seal. When the seal is done, the signal light on the timer will turn off.
Operator has the choice of using one or both elements on the bottom sealing bar.
Bag Sealing using 2 elements: 2 seals
Set the timer, insert the bag between the sealing jaws, press down on the foot pedal, and release the pedal when the light on the timer goes off. After the timer goes off, hold the foot pedal down for a few seconds to ensure enough time for the seals to cool and set.
This will give 2 seals on the bag which are 5/8" apart, a 2.7mm flat seal and a line seal on the end of the bag.
Bag Sealing using 1 element: 1 seal
Set the timer, depending on which element to use. Turn off the other timer. Proceed as previously described.
