The key to the success of this data shredder lies in the infeed behavior and the geometry of the cutting shafts. Both factors are vital for high performance and for the required shred size. The cutting shafts of the Intimus PRO data shredders are made of specially hardened steel. They are wear-free and can handle paper clips and staples. CDs, DVDs, floppy disks and plastic cards are shred with the same precision in a separate cutting unit. The use of two pairs of cutting cylinders reduces system load and guarantees long service life.
i-Control System instantly informs the user of the shredder status: Child safety lockout, oil indicator, bin open, paper jam,bin full and motor overheat lights.
Silentec: Innovative sound dampering system that produces whisper quiet operation; spring mounted shredder block absorb sound waves before you hear them.
2 X 2:Cut & Collect System segregates paper waste from CDs, plastic cards and diskettes; environmentally friendly recycle separation of paper and non-paper waste.
