The Altus 250 is a reliable automatic strapping machine that uses economical narrow strap and is available at a very affordable price.
Originally developed for the mailing and printing industry, the Altus 250 is ideally suited for a wide variety of customers who want to use low cost narrow strap, and don't need to run at very high speeds. Unlike many competing machines, the Altus 250 is not a table top strapper with an arch added. It was designed as an automatic strapper and has all the features normally found on much more expensive machines, the Altus 250 is backed by a robust warranty, a complete parts warranty, and our own in house service department.
Standard features included with the Altus 250 include:
- Compact Mechanical Control Head - The unique control head of the Altus 250 uses 30% fewer parts than comparable models. Maintenance costs are dramatically reduced.
- Two Activation Models - In addition to the panel switch, a foot pedal switch s standard on all Altus 250 units.
- Electronic Tension Control - Tension is controlled electronically with an external knob - no need to open the machine.
- Easy Feeding - Strap feeding is quick and efficient.
- Positive Strap Alignment - A unique alignment device assures consistent, strong weld joints.
- Loop Ejector - If the Altus 250 is operated without a package, the strap will eject a loop and re-feed the strap for the next cycle.
- Jam Free Automatic Re-Feeding - Any feeding issues are automatically cleared, and the Altus 250 returns to the ready position.
